Our 50 ton hydraulic forging press comes standard with hand and foot controls and an auto return lever. Blacksmiths enjoy the versatility of this press and Bladesmiths and knife makers appreciate it’s ability to forge large Damascus steel billets.

This 50 ton hydraulic forging press is designed for a full production forging shop and is also a great press for the weekend blacksmith who needs more power. The base of the press has a foot print of 36” x 28” and is made from 5/8” thick steel. There is no need for a foundation and with the cylinders are located below the ram giving it a low center of gravity. It’s low center of gravity makes it safer to move than press presses with cylinders above the ram. It is only 65” tall and will easily pass through doorways and fit below overhead shelving.
