This 25 ton hydraulic forging press is designed for a variety of uses from the weekend blacksmith to a full production forging shop. Bladesmiths and knife makers really like this press for forging Damascus steel billets. The base of the press has a foot print of 32” x 28” and is made from 5/8” thick steel. No need for a foundation and with the cylinder located below the ram it has a low center of gravity. This allows for safer moving of the press compared to other presses with cylinders about the ram. At 65” tall it will easily pass through doorways and will fit below overhead shelving.
